Parks near Rialto in Jupiter, FL

One of the many great things about calling South Florida home is being able to get outside and stay active all year long. Depending on where you live, taking advantage of all the outdoor amenities Jupiter has to offer is usually pretty easy, and that’s especially true if you’re lucky enough to call Rialto home.

As existing home owners already know, it seems like there’s park, golf course, or public green space in just about every direction you turn when living in Rialto, but here are just a few that stand out…

North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area

Immediately east of Rialto just across Island Way is North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area. Encompassing 160 acres, this lush green space features a paved nature trial, a sandy hiking trail, a boardwalk through the swamp, and a fishing pier with an observation platform.

Jupiter Community Park

Just south of North Jupiter Flatwoods Natural Area is the Jupiter Community Park. Mostly known for its baseball and soccer fields, you’ll also find tennis courts, a picnic area, and children’s play areas here too.

Loxahatchee River Natural Area

Mostly positioned on the other side of Interstate 95, the Loxahatchee River Natural Area is one of the largest nature preserves in the area. Spanning 274 acres, you’ll find three scenic nature trails, a picnic area, and also an observation tower here as well. It’s also said to have over 500 species of plants and roughly 217 species of animals.
